NEWS UPDATE – A year after their first attempt at trying to activate Dassen Island AF-064, the ZS1FUN team finally managed it. They are QRV until March 22, 2017 and have been on 20 & 40 SSB so far.
MARCH 25, 2016 – Activation cancelled due to deteorating weather in the region.
MARCH 22, 2016 – South African operators ZS1GS, ZS1XS, ZS1ASH and ZS1MW plan activity as ZS1FUN from Dassen Island AF-064 during March 25-28, 2016.
