NEWS UPDATE
Went outside this morning to fire up the generator. Oh yeah, did I mention the house runs on generator power? The wind was strong and cold out of the north with a drizzling rain. I shined my flashlight up at the antennas and guess what? The Crank-IR had fallen over. One of the guy ropes had broken. I spent the next hour repairing the guy rope and repairing the broken radial string and getting everything back up in the vertical position. I can better appreciate what the guys endure who go to the antarctic islands, and my wx is mild compared to down there… I will operate a few hours and then begin tearing down and packing. I leave early tomorrow morning. [source]

Many thanks for the new DXCC! SO happy to have been able to work you
Inclined to agree with “Mike” Never heard in Africa well at least ZS2 anyway.
“Mike” (too ashamed of his comment to give his callsign) said “Too bad you didn’t pay attention to EU on LOW bands…” But I am in EU and this operation was easy to work 80/60/40/30 – are these not “LOW bands”? Before complaining that an operation is “too bad”, try improving your own activity. Thanks guys for GOOD operation in not particularly optimal weather conditions too. Don’t let the twats dampen your enthusiasm for any further DXpeditions you might want to undertake in the future. 73 de Erik EI4KF.
Hi Jeff !
Too bad you didn’t pay attention to EU on LOW bands…
Thank you Jeff! I`ve got only a short end fed on my balcony and we made it on 20 m.!

Still hope for one 60m QSO. It’s the longest skip from LX.
Great to make it on 20 and 30mtr FT8 Jeff!. Not always easy with a home made Inverted L up 8 meters and barefoot. I call it QSO’ing on the edge !
Have a nice stay, enjoy the beauty of the environment and call you again on the bands.

DR OM, TNX FOR QSO WITH MY POOR LONG WIRE ANTENNA 34 MTRS+ 80W FT840 IN PILE-UP(40M). MANY TNX ,73 ,GL MIRO, OK1MI
I am impressed by your wonderful and active activities. Have a good time and stay healthy. Thank you for multi-band QSO. The extra high 160m band can only communicate between 1800~1825KHz according to the Korean Radio Law. And, 80 meter band can only communicate between 3500~3550KHZ So in Korea, 160/80 meter band FT8 is 1810KHz , 3547KHz HL stations stand by and QSO .We expect QSO in the 80/160-meter band. 73 & GL , de HL2WA
