NEWS UPDATE by Alberto VR2XAN/XX9TXN

“We are active from 10 to 40 meters CW and RTTY. The calsign XX9TXN is used for operation on 10, 15, 20, 40, 80 amd 160 meter. The callsign XX9TKB is used on WARC Bands 12, 18 and 30 meters.

Currently we have a lot of problems on Top Band due to a Radar covering a wide spectrum from 1,5 to 2,3 MHz. We are working to find the best possible solution in RX.

From time to time we are looking only for North America because from this part of the world the path with NA is extremely difficult (Polar path) especially with East Coast of US.

From XX9 working a W1 is like for a DL working T31 or KH1 !!!!!

Please be patient. Opening with NA are very short and limited.”
