Neil, VP8AWU/P will be QRV from the West Falklands (Purvis House) until January 8. Then, starting on 9th, he will be active from Pebble Island until the 14th. WX permitting QRV from Kepple Island, then Golding Island, and finally on to Saunders Island with Susan VP8VK. More info as to exact dates/times/bands are forthcoming as Neil will be sending updated messages using in-Reach satellite GPS.
FEBRUARY 17, 2021 – Neil, VP8AWU is again QRV after several years off air. He tends to be active during 0030-0300z on 40m SSB trying out an IC-7100 and Ameritron AL80 amplifier to a wire antenna. Reports suggest he has a good signal and was working all over SA and NA. QSL via Direct only.
