Charlie, VK3ZD is now active from North West island, OC-142 as VK9NW until April 20th. He states:
North West Island is a remote uninhabited island off the coast of Queensland in the Coral Sea. Access to the island is limited and difficult. Everything must be transported to the island. There is no power, water or facilities. Generators, vehicles and fires are not allowed. Everything you need must be “carried” from barge to the camp site about 500 metres away. North West Island is part of the Capricornia Cays. To the best of my knowledge this is the first time this island has been activated! [pics credit VK9NW]
