UPDATE – VIDEO NOW PRIVATE
Way back in 1983 the VK0JS DXpedition to Heard Island took place. Ops were VK9NS, VK9YL, VK0SJ, WA8MOA, OE1LO.
Although the footage is quite old, it’s still a good watch especially with the issues encountered at sea. Mention of the ham radio operation is made at 47:00. (Or click the video above for the full showing).
The video mentions VK0HI-VK0CW, but we’ve been informed it was actually VK0JS.
