[NEWS UPDATE] – The T31TT team arrived Kanton island approx 2100z today. Pictures courtesy Rebel DX Group. Expect to see them QRV in the coming hours. Picture above is from previous T31TT activity.
[MAY 25] – Team member Teddy posts an update via Rebel DX Group Facebook page:
We received some questions about T31 activity. For the team to reach Kanton island it take about 7 to 8 days by motor yacht Sheer Delight. From Fiji to Samoa about 700Nm. Then from Samoa to Kanton another 700Nm. They will stop in Samoa for refueling the vessel and a meeting regarding another rare DXCC, very close to Samoa.
Team will be on Kanton for about 12 to 14 days. After Kanton they will fly to Europe for 2 weeks to sorted out over 200.000 QSL cards. Then activity from T22T Tuvalu, and another one before the main event by end of the year if we are lucky! So far team is about 80miles away from Samoa.
[MAY 22] – Team signing E51DOM/MM on the way to Kanton. First stop after three days is 5W – Samoa, then another three days sailing to T31. Look for /MM signals on 20m CW & SSB.

[MAY 7] – Dom, 3Z9DX reports they going full speed with preparations for T31TT. Three brand new generators already waiting. All radio and antenna equipment cleaned and checked before next hard work. Vessel already refueled for the trip. First stop is Samoa; a quick meeting regarding another semi rare DXCC very close to 5W land (and American Samoa). More info soon.
[APRIL 12] After their T30UN DXpedition to Tarawa, W. Kiribati, the Rebel DX Group will be making a return visit to Kanton island and QRV as T31TT starting June 1st for approximately 10-12 days. Previously the Rebels were QRV from Kanton in 2016 as T31T – see videos below:

COMMENTLooking forward to the QRV from Central Kiribati. Central Kiribati, especially on the 6m band, is a very rare entity. I would love to meet you.

Good news, 12 and 10 meters SSB activity would be greatly appreciated.
