Using a Go-Pro camera, here’s a short video taken by Jerry WB9Z showing the first helicopter flight to Navassa. Also on-board were N4GRN amd W0GJ, the first ham radio operators to set foot on the island for 22 years.
The video last 4 minutes but is well worth viewing. Scenes from the lighthouse, the camp & antenna farm, plus the last QSO made by W0GJ. In addition it shows the last helicopter flight out with W0GJ, K9CT & WB9Z, who stayed the last +20 hours adding another 9,000 contacts..including dismantling the last of the camp.
