UPDATE – September 7th is planned last day of operations. One station is left on the air as the team start to pack many kgs of equipment. They have to walk 100m (back and forth) with this gear. Tomorrow (Sept, 8th about noon – their local = 00.00z) the vessel picks the team up. Logs uploaded once onboard. They will set up a vertical on the ship and sign /MM passing through some RDA areas. At the moment activity from AS-142 is a big question mark depending on the captain’s plans. RT9K/0 has made over 8500 QSOs.

 

September 1 – After six days of sailing, the team are now on the island. QRV once set up. Latitude: 62.34222 Longitude: 163.46585

August 25, 2015 – After a delay due to weather, the RT9K/0 team are now underway. Estimated sailing time is 5-7 days. Track the voyage here

August 20, 2015 – The team have now arrived Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. On the way they met Yuri UA9OBA, President of Russian Robinson Club.

August 19, 2015 – The expedition team continue their way to IOTA AS-203NEW.  Follow their track here. Upon arriving Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky the team will wait for a ship (0-7 days) and then leave for AS-203. This 1500 km voyage should take 1-2 weeks. So expected QRV is the beginning of September.  Team plans to stay on AS-203 for about a week.. activation of Kambalny (Toporkov) Island (AS-142) is very much possible on their way back.

January 11, 2015 – A team consisting UA9KDF, UA0ZC, RW0BG, RA9LR, RA0ZJ, UA0ZFW and UA9KAM plan activity from Dobrzhanskogo Island AS-203NEW.
