It is sad to think that this DXpedition came to a premature end. It was a week of high drama & for the time they were on it was very good, in fact better than I expected for us in ZS. Some of us were very lucky to make it into the log & others who lost out will have to fight another day!! I had my luck & good fortune & it is a DXpedition that I will never forget as it was a milestone for me. Kindly convey my personal THANKS to the TEAM for THEIR DEDICATION & COURAGE & for giving me my last DXCC entity for #1 Honor Roll SSB, 340/359. Attached is a photo of Andre ZS1AN (blue jacket) who so unexpectedly came to shake me by the hand & down a glass of Champagne, on the occasion of my DXCC #1 Honor Roll on SSB.
