At 15:25z PQ0T started activity on 10 SSB. Here’s a recording of the first QSOs being made (with obligatory tuner).
The PQ0T team received authorization from the Brazilian Navy that a team of five operators can go to Trindade (instead of three). Therefore, PP5BZ Fabio, PP5JD Jaime, PY3FJ Jacobus, PY3MM Miguel and PY3OZ Claudio will now form the team. They will depart from PY1 on March 30. Expected QRV on April 2nd until the 4th (one day less than anticipated). Operating as PQ0T/MM on the way there.
On November 25, 2014 DX-World broke the news about an upcoming DXpedition to Trindade Island. Below we have full info courtesy Fabio, PP5BZ.
Fabio PP5BZ, Jaime PP5JD and Claudio PY3OZ will be active from Trindade as PQ0T between April 3-6, 2015.
The Brazilian Navy cleared the team to operate for only three days. Therefore, in order to comply with the whole DX community they ask everyone to avoid duplicate or even contacts, contacts bands / modes they that already have for the DXCC Challenge. ATNO’s and UNIQUES will be their priority.
Expected to be QRV on 80-6m with two stations on air simultaneously.
