Waiting for the TX4A and VK6ISL QSL cards to arrive from the printing house in Italy, I had time over the Christmas holidays to help Pablo, a friend and documentary photographer from Argentina, to finalize the subtitles for the movie on the IOTA DXpedition to Escondida Is. (SA-096). As some of you may recall, this operation took place as LU6W on January 5, 2013. On its 2nd anniversary, please join Team Escondida on their journey of hopes, doubts, concerns, frustrations, effort, optimism, determination, and joy in putting this one on the air.

The movie can be watched on line or downloaded for a better viewing from https://gum.co/lu6w. There is no charge, but any donation will be welcome. All funds received will go to Pablo, the movie director, and will be used towards new photography hardware and software. Note that the movie can be played with either English or Spanish subtitles, which can be downloaded from the same site. Once you start the movie in your video player (I’m using VLC), just pick and drag quickly the subtitle file of your choice over the movie screen.
