OCTOBER 23 — From 24th – 28th October 2018, Dave EI9FBB will be QRV from Vieques Island, Puerto Rico, NA-249P.
He has located a great QTH right on the north side of the island with great sea views in most directions!
QRV on 40m,30m,20m and 17m bands, he will concentrate on SSB for the first 2 days and CW during the CQWW SSB contest, to focus on giving out this NEW IOTA group to as many unique chasers as possible.
This is the 1st activity from one of the 6 new IOTA groups announced at the RSGB convention earlier this month.
QSL via M0OXO and Club Log OQRS
Just got word earlier from Bob K3EST notifying me that all my supporting documentation has been accepted and therefore my recent NA-249P operation is now accredited.
Sincere tnx to Bob and the IOTA validation team for this really quick approval.
In the coming days, the QSL design will be completed and will be sent to the printers. PSE QSL via M0OXO and Clublog OQRS. We promise you a nice QSL card and will even get it delivered before the end of year deadline!
Tnx to Charles M0OXO for this huge task and to those who sent an extra dollar or three – you will be rewarded! Flights were expensive at this short notice.
See you again from somewhere ‘nice’.
