Today’s “QSL of the Day” is that of KB5ENR/KH3, but actually there’s a little story behind this particular callsign. Card provider, Bill WK2X explains:
KB5ENR/KH3 eventually, and for a long time unbeknownst to me, became a fellow martial arts student with me in Ann Arbor, MI for a while. We were throwing each other around at the dōjō without knowing we’d had a QSO years before until … I was looking thru my cards, recognized his name on this one, and asked him about it. That’s the best thing about ham radio, in my opinion: it makes the world a smaller, and better place.
