First of all, a really great response to the new QSL of the Day feature. It seems during these non-DXpedition times people are happy to share their favourite cards from yesteryear so others can also reminisce. Get in touch if you’d like to add your chosen QSL card(s) to this new feature. Previous QSLs of the Day can be found at the bottom right of website.
DX-World has always championed IOTA and will continue to do so. There’s so many interesting, unique and remote islands globally that sometimes we forget they are indeed central to our hobby. In another new feature, similar to QSL of the Day, the idea is to publish daily a picture of an island mentioning its IOTA reference number. This new concept – IOTA of the Day – has already been running for over a week and is also proving to create good interest and suggestions. Keep them coming!
Below are a few bullet points for your info:
- QSL of the Day changes daily approximately 10:00z.
- IOTA of the Day changes daily approximately 11:00z.
- IOTA picture choices, as follows: Monday (Oceania), Tuesday (South America), Wednesday (Europe), Thursday (North America), Friday (Antarctica), Saturday (Asia) & Sunday (Africa).
- Every weekend the six header images (top of main website) will change. They will feature heavily scenes from around the world encapsulating DXCC entities.
