Chuck (T32NCC) is working to acquire a 65 ft power boat capable to allow him to offer charters to any of the islands of Kiribati, including all of the Southern Line, Phoenix, and Banaba. His goal is to offer transportation services to local scientists, radio amateur expeditions, sport fishing and diving enthusiasts starting early 2022. The boat will be able to accommodate up to 12 passengers and cargo, in addition to the crew, at an average cruising speed of 15-20 knots under 2.5 m ocean swell. Chuck will be able to charter from international airports in Kiribati and Samoa, and will provide hospitality support ashore.
