Craig, VK5CE currently operating from Red Island OC-255 has sent some images of his activity for readers of DX World to view. He mentions just over 1000 QSOs have been made on his first day of activity using 100w on 20m only. Craig continues:
I now have a vertical dipole for 20m and 15m on the high tide mark with a clear water short path from Europe to JA to North America. Now the generator is running I’ll start using 100w to 300w. Please ask Europe to understand that the North American openings aren’t very good and I understand their frustration when I ask Europe to stand by at their peak propagation times.
