HQ4W – Tigre Island, NA-060

Oct 2 – Earlier than expected, after leaving port at 04:00 local this morning, Dan HR2DMR has arrived Tigre Isl NA-060 and hopes to be active later today as HQ4W.

He will use a multi-band vertical for this activity, also doing a recce for best operating QTH prior to his main NA-060 activation in mid-October (see below).

Dan HR2DMR plans to visit and operate from Tigre Island NA-060 as HQ4W (call tentative) between October 17-20, 2013.

Operating time on the island could be restricted due to Honduran Navy exercises. QRV on HF bands, CW/SSB.
