Ned, AA7A, was involved in the design and testing of the DXpedition submode of FT8 in 2017/2018. As the station architect for the 2018 Baker Island DXpedition, he developed the design for the stations and IP networks for the operation and spearheaded the rollout of this new submode on the DXpedition. This talk will provide a snapshot of the technology used on this massively successful DXpedition that helped to revolutionize the approach to digital mode DXing.
