UPDATE – Operations at D66D
September 18 @ 15:00z – Now QRV.
September 17 @ 18:00z – Team is in D6 QTH already few hours. All luggage arrived safely as well as our team. They come to QTH evening therefore all further activities postponed till morning sunrise.
September 16, 2016 – D66D team at airport and soon flying to Moroni, Comoros via Kenya.
May 15, 2016 – Extra ops added – OK1GK, OK2ZA and OK1BOA – to original team.
April 23, 2016 – We are pleased to announce a new Czech DXpedition. We have obtained permission of activate D6 – Comoros Island. It took us 6 months of negotiations to activate such a rare country, currently on Club Log – rank number 89.
Activity is scheduled for the second half of September. We will activate new prefix D66D. Operators are Pavel OK1FPS, Petr OK1FCJ & David OK6DJ. Operation will be on the HF bands, antennas are Spiderbeams and verticals for the lower bands.
