John, W5EXJ informs DX-World that “Buddipole is returning to Costa Rica for a 2016 Costa Rica Buddipole DXpedition. They will be at the same location as in 2014 & 2015, at Las Villas del Guayabo which in the foothills of Miravalles volcano (about an hour’s drive north east of the Liberia, Costa Rica).
They will be working with the prefix TI7/ and there will be 6 radio operators on the trip:
Judy – TI7/KE5OYQ, Randy – TI7/WA0D, Jim – TI7/W5AP, Jason – TI7/KC5HWB, John – TI7/W5EXJ and Tom – TI7/K4ZGB
They will begin operating late in the day on 10/26 through early early morning on 10/31. Plan is to work all bands. And … thanks to Roger and his crew in the UK at Monitor Sensors, they will also be on the 630m band.
