[NEWS UPDATE] – Unfortunately, reading the comment from Bernard H44MS, all is not quite what Moffat had explained. In what was a genuine attempt to try help him, it’s probably best to avoid.

Moffat H44MD
Last active in 2015, Moffat Dakatia H44MD is looking for some help from fellow DXers. He has explained to DX-World that due to looting in Honiara (capital of Solomon islands) his only radio was taken, and that’s why he has not been QRV.
He’s now hoping to get back on air but obviously requires a transceiver. He has dipoles for 40, 20 and 15m and can use a 12v battery plus power supply.
If you would like to give Moffat a helping hand to get back on air, and perhaps have a surplus radio you’re willing to send to H44, please email him at Mozzarddraxler@gmail.com
Thanks!
This is Bernard, DL2GAC,H44MS. I do know Moffet for about 15-20 years. I have supplied the aerials he is talking about. I supported him for many years until 2015. He misused my trust and support, so I broke with him.
He once had a TS 50, donated by a HK6 ham. It was lost because he took a loan from someone. When he was unable to repay the loan, his creditor took the TS 50, that was about 2012. So his radio was NOT lost during looting in Nov. 2019.
To my best knowledge Moffet never passed a proper license exam, I doubt he has a valid current license.
