UPDATE – C91RDX now active for a short time. See tweet:

APRIL 13 @ 20:30z – The team are QRV longer than initially thought. They are currently packing equipment but two FT8 stations are still running. They leave for Maputo at 0200z (April 14) and will take rapid Covid tests there. All going well they will fly home April 15/16. Photo above for DX-World courtesy the team.

APRIL 12 @ 07:00z – Today is the last full day of activity.  QRV tonight on 80/160m, but tomorrow morning tearing down the antennas, then to Maputo, where the team will stay for 48 hours awaiting for CoVID tests. Add together both C92RU & A25RU logs =  total of ~90,000 QSOs by the Russian DX Team.

APRIL 4, 2021 – With thanks to team leader, R7AL, who sent these pictures from Mozambique.

APRIL 3 @ 19:00Z – Vasily, R7AL informs DX-World the team arrived at Barra Beach in C9. They are very tired and currently looking (in the dark) to find best place for antennas.

APRIL 3 @ 05:00Z by team member R9LR:

After some delay at customs, and thanks to our South African driver with his discreet driving style, we had our first overnight stay in Mozambique. During the morning (local time) we will continue our journey to the QTH.

APRIL 2 – Team leader, Vasily R7AL got in touch (April 2 @ 06:00z) to say the team’s now loading all their equipment and will soon start the 1500km journey to Mozambique. This involves crossing two borders, and will be “quite a challenge in these conditions” according to Vasily.

We also received a couple of pictures from Vasily and a video shortly before A25RU went QRT.
