NOVEMBER 27 – The team made a recce of the island and provide some pictures for DX-World readers. A reminder the AT7SJ expedition takes place during December 3-6, 2021.
NOVEMBER 24 – Team happy to report they have now received official permission to operate from the island, and their callsign will be AT7SJ.
NOVEMBER 20, 2021 – Madhu, VU3NPI informs DX-World that he intends to lead a team (called the “VU Manic Monkeys”) to St Georges Islands (Grandi) in Goa state during December 3-6, 2021. Currently, the team is pursuing hard with authorities and are hopeful to get permission next week. QRV on 40-10m; CW, FT8, SSB; 100w only.
Hi Klaus, I bet the team was not aware at all about 14060 being the QRP CW frequency, otherwise perhaps they may have used a different one.
But is it enough excuse to permanently make deliberate QRM to the team?
Besides of the low signals and QSB, those who tried to work the expedition had to content with the permanent DQRM caused by someone who seemingly did not like them to be using that frequency.

Dear AT7SJ CW Op’s: The frequency 14.060 is the QRP CW frequency internationally! Is it really necessary to fill this with the pileup? The CW area is big enough! Please show fairness to the QRPers. Thanks!
