A few months ago I intended to go DXing from El Salvador (YS) but things changed & I’m now living on the island of Saipan. I prepaid for my accommodation in El Salvador but rather than use the dates at a later time I have decided to offer them up FOR FREE to one lucky DX World reader. This isn’t just any ordinary QTH. It’s the same location the HU2DX team made 45,000+ QSOs from during their DXpedition. You can always relax on the beach if the pileups become too much!
So here is what you get:
Seven (7) days of free accommodation for ONE person at the Capricho Beach House in Barra de Santiago, El Salvador. Room has air conditioning & 110/220 Volt. Ocean is right outside your front door.
Here is what you DON’T get:
Airfare from your QTH, food, passport issuance, taxi fees or anything else. Be sure to check your countries reciprocal licensing agreement with El Salvador. Again, this is for accommodations only. Neither DX World nor myself will be held responsible for any unfortunate situations travelling to El Salvador, while there, or returning to your home QTH.
OK, I’m a Dxer and want to go. How do I get the free Beach House accommodations?
Simply send an email to cwdx@mail.com and we will work out the details. I have spoken to the resort owner about transferring my prepaid dates & they are fine with it. I will give the owner your name thus transferring my prepaid dates to you. If more than one person shows interest I will make a final decision. I created cwdx@mail.com for emails about the Beach House giveaway only & will close the account after a recipient has been found. Please no KH0/KC0W skeds or anything else.
I would like a recipient for the accommodation to be found within 2 weeks of this posting on DX World. You should plan on using the dates within 6 months after receiving them.
This is some kinda scam – no one gives anything away for free?
Yes, Mr. Pessimist some people do give things away for free to help others enjoy this great hobby. I’m almost halfway around the world from YS land & I have no intention of flying back just to use 7 days of nonrefundable accommodation. I repeat this is no kind of scam or anything else. I just want someone else to experience the fun of DXing with least some of the costs taken care of.
