Today, around 0700z, Bhutan’s HRH Prince Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, A5B (Alpha Five Bhutan), is expected to be QRV, reports JH1AJT, Zorro. HRH Prince Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck is the half-brother of the King of Bhutan. Three years ago Zorro trained His Royal Highness. The Prince “is always busy” and has been so this week for Bhutan’s 112th National Day. Over the last three days Zorro had multiple meetings with HRH Prince Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck. Zorro is very excited that HRH “will finally participate” in the A5 activities. Zorro says, “Today, A5B will operate with the permission of HRH starting 20m SSB”.

DECEMBER 6, 2019 — Zorro JH1AJT and his team will visit A5 Bhutan again. This time Zorro will have meetings with the Olympic Committee and Bhutan Paralympic Committee for Bhutan’s participation in the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympic / Paralympic Games, especially focusing his support to the Paralympic and Para-athletes. Also, he will discuss the possible participation of Bhutan in the next Winter Olympic / Paralympic Games and preparation for that.

As always, Zorro cannot operate for long time as he has many duties, but good operators in his team will do their best for worldwide contacts. They look forward to seeing you on the air!
