NEWS UPDATE – Readers and island chasers might be wondering what happened to the 7H9H activation. We got word from Budi, YE1AR that the expedition was cut short due to a few reasons. The team (10 in total) were all novice operators. Budi was supposed to join them as the experienced activator, but his flight was cancelled due to Covid. Basically nobody supervising them. They were beset with logistical problems and in the end had to drink sea water; some got ill. However, they are all safe and already some are home. Regarding the logs, Budi is waiting on the ADIF from the team and the QSL manager is N2OO.
The log of 7H9H (Habe Island, OC-275 – Indonesia) is uploaded in Club Log. 1,276 QSOs in the log.https://t.co/DBvJm6NhjQ@DX_World
