I’m just back from Kenya and very happy by my activities with my light equipment ment, amazing pileups with North America and incredible 9+10 report from VK and FK with only 100w and simple loop antenna.

At the end of my DXpedition to 5Z4, myself and Emre (HZ1ES – TA1I)  sponsored one ICOM IC-7300 and a laptop for our friend Geoffrey (5Z4BU). We hope this will encourage other radio amateurs to sponsor other operators in any way in the future.

JANUARY 23 – 5Z4/HB9DSP plans to build an antenna for 40m later today. A reminder he is QRV until January 30th, and has been active mainly on SSB with some FT8. Pictures credit HB9DSP.

Spiderbeam Quad for 20-15-10m

JANUARY 6 – Ferdy has reserved the dates January 17-31, 2022 for this activity depending on the current Covid situation.

NOVEMBER 30th by Ferdy, HB9DSP

I inform you that I have to postpone my trip to mid-January 2022…Last weekend I was one day in Belgium and when I returned to Switzerland by plane, the Swiss health authorities force me to do a 10-day quarantine! Beware that I am vaccinated and have an up-to-date NEGATIVE PCR test result!!
