COVID-19 is the buzz word here. We have not had a large outbreak, and the government has done an excellent job of containing the index case. What it means for me is that I will be staying. I believe there is more good to be done by remaining in Tanzania, especially since our usual caretakers are prevented from traveling at this time. I also think I am safer in the long run.

As of 2020-03-21, my KX2 has ceased to function properly. No power out on any bands except 20 and 80m. I have no idea what went wrong. It was working earlier in the day, then not working. That means my digital station is now off the air. I did add about 600 contacts on FT-8, but it is something of a production to re-configure the KX3 for digital.
