NEWS – Tom, KC0W updates:
“The 4I7COW DXpedition is now QRT. It was fun but not very productive. Less than 1,800 total QSOs were logged. Call it a “Holiday Style” operation. I will be leaving the Philippines tomorrow for Montenegro in order to operate as 4O/KC0W. Ya, Montenegro is about as “rare” as Canada but it should be fun nonetheless. There is a possibility of DXing from Albania as well”.
October 29 – Tom informs “I’m in the Philippines right now until 25 November. The callsign for this DXpedition is 4I7COW. This unique prefix has never been issued before so it should generate some good interest. I’m exploring Manila right now & will be traveling to my operating QTH in the south of the Philippines in another week or so. I plan on being QRV by early November”.
October 21, 2016 – Tom, KC0W, fresh from his Pacific tour has announced he will be active from the Philippines between 26 October – 25 November. Furthermore, he now plans to visit Equatorial Guinea on a fact finding mission after 4I7COW goes QRT, and request licensing for Annobon Island and Equatorial Guinea.
