3Y0J website is written 200,000 QSOs was the plan. Now written is $15 each QSL card, very expensive for normal poor amateur of Russia. 15 x 200,000 = $3 MIllion. Expedition expense < $1 Million. Where go other $2 Million? Is this type of amateur radio station, or is type of commercial enterprise with big profit? Some 3Y0J operators also governors of major donations like IOTA and INDXA – Is this the confliction of things? Do INDXA & IOTA pay governor guys to will visit Ostrov Bouvet? Organizers must give to open financial statement for able to read of everyone, if not then will renown of bad reputation of 3Y0J Gangster or Mafia DXpedition. I think many Russian amateurs think this same story. Sorry my english. 73 from Jewish Autonomyous Region of Siberia Russia.

Don’t blame the weather – your plans were over the top and because of that, you failed big time.

I predict 3Y0J will be the last ever DXpedition in the sub-Antarctic.
When Aus, NZ, UK, Norway & French govt. antarctic departments see the videos/photos and read WD5COV’s report on 3Y0J Facbook page about men being stranded on Bouvet without shelter or food, they will simply shut the door.
No more permits and no more DXpedtiions to VP8 South Georgia, VK0 Heard, ZL9 Campbell etc. etc.
Well done guys and thanks alot!

Now can listen to 3Y0J PR machine in full face-saving damage-control mode as they approaching towards Cape Town.
One thing known for sure about Bouvet weather conditions is that they are entirely predicable in being pretty atrocious nearly all the time – Bouvet is in the ‘Furious Fifties’ for goodness sakes !!
C’mon Guys ! – Please don’t insult our intelligences by blaming the weather for your inadequate planning and failure to deliver upon your promises.
